This site began life as a home page for my short-lived consulting company, Parks Computing Services, Inc. Not long after I really got going and had some clients, I decided to go to the Great [sic] Northwest and work for a start-up my friends had begun in Seattle. Like so many startups, it lost its funding and I found myself with about four months of free time on my hands. I began learning the .NET framework, and I soon moved the site to an ASP.NET web server and re-created it. Now it is a showcase of sorts for programs, libraries, and code snippets that I write. Naturally, it's also my I love me page, as well.
