A Note to Users of Older Browsers

I have done the best I can to make these pages browseable in older browsers such as Netscape Navigator 4, but I'm not inclined to make the pages look the same in older browsers as they do in modern browsers that are tracking the current XHTML and CSS standards.

I strongly encourage that you upgrade your browser to a new, more standards-compliant version. I have listed several of these below.

If you don't like fancy graphical browsers and prefer to surf the web in lynx instead, you're in luck: I test every page in lynx and so far everything is browseable. I don't use many graphics anyway so you'll do okay.

But Why?

The reason I'm leaving older browsers behind is... well, because they're old. Browser upgrades are free. I also believe that modern browsers are finally beginning to track standards with some reliablilty, and I like those standards because they allow for better separation of content and presentation.

I support the Browser Upgrade Initiative. If you'd like to learn more, read about it at http://www.webstandards.org/mission.html.
